Molly Bonacci

Molly Bonacci

Molly Bonacci is a lifelong animal lover who has worked in the veterinary field for more than 19 years. Molly's many years of experience and veterinary expertise is very valuable to our clinic. She was the first person hired when the clinic opened in 2015. Over the years, Molly has been vital in doing things behind the scenes to help make the practice what it is today. Prior to joining our team, she worked her way up through the veterinary world in several clinics around Michigan. Some of her favorite tasks include drawing blood and placing catheters in animals who are ill, fragile or have challenging or compromised veins. She is the best at accomplishing these technical tasks. She also makes the most beautiful clay paw prints for pets who have passed, and provides compassionate care for pets and their people when it comes time to say goodbye. She studied veterinary sciences at Baker College and Penn Foster College, and general studies at NMU and LSSU. With a special affinity for pit bulls and chow chows, Molly not only fosters pets in need, she has many of her own: seven cats and five dogs, all of which are rescues from shelters, and a flock of chickens. In addition to sharing her home with her animals and fosters, she allows her husband Joe to live there as well.

Jessica Hank

She has been in the veterinary field for 18 years and counting. Jessica studied veterinary technology at Penn Foster College and holds a degree in accounting from Kaplan University. While she has worked in veterinary clinics in multiple states such as North Carolina, New Orleans and Houston; there's just no place like home and has settled back here in Sault Ste Marie with her four dogs; Kimber, Ferdinand, Mason and Skip, and her husband Chris. While Jessica loves all breeds, she has a soft spot for Australian Shepherds. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time at her house on the river relaxing and reading a good book. Jessica looks forward to meeting all of you and caring for your fur babies.

McKenzy Wagner-Sebastian, LVT with horse

McKenzy Wagner-Sebastian, LVT

McKenzy grew up here in Sault Ste. Marie on her family’s farm. It was early on in her life when she realized her passion for medicine, specifically veterinary medicine. McKenzy has worked in the veterinary field since 2018 and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in 2022 after earning her degree in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster College. She has worked for several practices in Michigan, two being Riversbend Animal Hospital (Big Rapids) and Animal Emergency Hospital of Grand Rapids. McKenzy would not be the technician she is today if it wasn’t for the many amazing doctors (over 30!), technicians and assistants who have coached her along the way. She thoroughly enjoys learning and strives to continue her education by pursuing her bachelor's degree and attending veterinary conferences to learn the latest advances in the veterinary profession. She aims to provide the best care for her patients and their people. McKenzy lives on her family farm with her husband Zach, two dogs, one cat, and eight horses. She and her husband also own and manage two local small businesses. In her free time, McKenzy enjoys horseback riding, barrel racing, hiking, and boating.
